What exactly does our guidance counselor do at school?

A counselor is appointed by the school management and must be trained for this purpose. She is responsible for all students who have questions about the following topics:

Career and study advice, individual advice for learning, performance and behavioral disorders, prevention and event management

It is subject to confidentiality as long as the students concerned are not involved in any crime.
